At UCanachieve Learning Alternatives we understand the power of positive relationships and positive experiences. Our Residential Therapeutic Treatment Program is designed for high-school kids who do not fit into traditional academic structures and need guidance and direction to find their own path in life.
Our goal is to help your teenager realize his potential and offer a different perspective and direction. We take a strength-based approach that will empower your teenager to begin to create the life he wants.
What we are offering
A healthy family setting and home
In our program, your teen can learn to co-exist in a healthy family setting. Often a fresh start in a new environment can provide the motivation to change direction and pursue a better path in life.
We have found that when a teenager is immersed in a completely new environment, all influences that created negative experiences or difficult behavior in the past are left behind. New people, a new environment, and many new experiences can help create a new outlook and perspective for your child.
Our school is based in Israel and we offer programs in English, Hebrew, French, and Spanish.
Our medical, psychological, and educational staff are trained experts who will give your teenager the care they need. At UCanachieve, we offer the highest standard of treatment in a gentle and caring atmosphere.
Traditional approaches to youth care have been pathology-based. This is detrimental to the adolescent as their unique strengths and abilities are not celebrated or appreciated. Historically, problem-based views have caused considerable damage to the potential of young people in care.
At UCanachieve, we are the therapeutic supports that offer guidance, encouragement, and space to grow and learn in a positive atmosphere.
Who we work with
We work with teenagers and young adults who have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Behavioral issues, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Learning Disabilities, or Non-verbal learning disorders.
In our program teenagers find out what it’s like to succeed and find what stimulates and excites them. Our alternative learning approaches offer a unique opportunity to experience a new kind of learning that builds confidence and provides valuable life lessons.
